At Arnikawa we use New Zealand business for all our ingredients and packaging. It is our way of supporting the local economy and the businesses that are real, genuine people who whole heartedly believe in the business they are running.
We believe in giving back.
Each month we donate 5% of our profits to Arthritis New Zealand, who support people dealing with reduced mobility and pain, and the SPCA, who provide a safe haven for abandoned and abused animals.
Natural means natural.
We only use 100% natural ingredients and the purest essential oils that will truly benefit your skin. No chemicals, fillers, fragrance, or artificial ingredients.
We strive to keep waste to a minimum.
We use recyclable materials wherever possible. All our products are in glass bottles or jars and our post bags and packaging are biodegradable.
Made in New Zealand.
All our products are handmade in New Zealand in small batches to ensure the quality of each batch. And because we don’t use fillers or lots of water in our products, our products are effective in small quantities and a little goes a long way.

Greetings! I’m Cindy, the visionary behind Arnikawa. Nestled in the picturesque Bay Of Plenty, I share my home with my loving husband and our two furry companions. My journey into holistic healing began with a deep-seated passion for natural remedies, but it was a life-altering accident that propelled me into a fervent pursuit of wellness.
Struggling with chronic back pain post-accident, I found myself reliant on a myriad of anti-inflammatory medications and creams to manage the constant discomfort. However, as time wore on, I became increasingly aware of the harmful chemicals lurking in these conventional products and their detrimental effects on my health.
Did you know that daily use of certain anti-inflammatory creams can escalate the risk of heart attacks and strokes by up to 40%?
This revelation spurred me to delve into the world of natural alternatives, driven by a desire to prioritize my well-being.
I was astounded to learn that our skin absorbs roughly 60% of what we apply to it, with a portion seeping into our bloodstream.
Realising the magnitude of chemical exposure my body endured, I embarked on a quest to find a natural substitute for my pain relief regimen.
That is how the ‘Releaf’ range was created. With extensive research and experimentation, and under the guidance of a seasoned aromatherapist I absorbed a wealth of knowledge and embarked on a mission to revolutionize pain relief and skincare with a holistic approach. We now have a remarkable muscle balm and a roll-on pain relief formula crafted from pure botanicals and essential oils that is effective and completely natural.
Driven by a desire to minimise chemical exposure, I expanded our product range to include skincare infused with botanicals, essential oils, and potent natural ingredients such as Bakuchiol (nature’s retinol), Co-Enzyme Q10 and Hyaluronic acid. These meticulously crafted formulations aim to combat aging, rejuvenate skin, and preserve its youthful vitality.
As I witnessed the remarkable results first hand, I felt compelled to share these treasures with others. Thus, our Skinfood range was born.
